Amazing People take One.

Some times people will come into your life and you just know they are special. I have a lot of people who have come in to my life and have changed me, helped me, cried with me, and been there for me in this journey of life.
I would like to take a moment and highlight one person who has made an impact on my life for the good. This person has helped me understand who I am and been a great friend almost from the first day we met. Becky was my landlord in one of the first places Brian and I lived in. We lived in her basement and became very close very quick. Now we have been gone for about 3 years and I still get text messages from her exactly when I could use a pick me up. I can't say enough nice things about her. She is one of the most beautiful, kind hearted, funny, thoughtful, patient, stellar, genuine people I know. This is a picture I stole from her blog of her and her daughter. I love you Becky!!!!!
Thanks for being you!

I would like to start blogging more about the little things that happen in our lives. Like in the last 24 hours I have gotten a bruise on my right thigh by bumping into the bed. I managed to bruise my left ankle at work this morning. Then to top it off I was taking wash out of the washer, you know the holes in the washer, I got my thumb stuck in one and ripped the thumb nail in the middle. All I can say is what is going on, I am so clumzy.

Summer has come and gone.

So this is from this summer. We went to the Oakland temple with the youth to do baptisms.
This is a self portrait not too bad.

This is the 2nd picture I took and the last since I didn't charge my camera battery, when will I learn.

So this summer went by really fast. Brian and I went to camp. I went to girls camp and Brian went to scout camp. We had some family visit from Utah and spent a few days and the beach house. Other than that we were working and spending time with our Youth at church.

Birthday time!

Well unfortunatly my birthday has come again. The good news is that I got to spend time with my family. My adorable nephews were there and helped me blow the candles on the cake. They had so much fun singing that they kept singing happy birthday and blowing out their invisible candle. It was so cute.

I love this one all smiles!

This is my newest nephew. He is just so dang sweet, such a good baby.

This is just the cutest video ever!

A little change is good once in a while!

Brian and I were invited to a costume party a week ago and to help Brian get into character he decided to dye his hair black. He also had been growing it long, to fit his character. He was Jimmy Skimmy an accountant that cooked peoples books for a price. It was a murder mystery party to be set in the late 1950's. I was unable to go due to some minor surgery and therefore have no pictures lame I know. But here is Brian with his long black hair.

The day after the party Brian cut his hair and the following days Charlie and I also cut our hair. Here is a picture of us outside our house.

This picture is to show how charlie did get his hair cut. The previous picture you couldn't quite tell. The previous post shows how long his hair had gotten, oops bad mommy. Nothing new or exciting going on here just getting ready for scout camp and girls camp!!!

Where have we been????

Well that is a good question. We have been so crazy busy but yet I have no photos to prove it. Brian and I are very busy with our callings in Young womens and Young mens. I never knew how much time a calling like this required. Brian just participated in the quad stake pioneer trek. I opted out due to my severe allergy to poison oak, I mean bad. I really wish I was able to go. Other than that we are busy working and busy with the Lions club.

This is our most adorable dog Charlie. I wonder how any dog could be any better. He never barks, well it's rare. He is such a chill dog. We sure do love him.

Yes I am adorable.

Harvest

This is the time of year we get to enjoy the fruits of the previous owners hard work. This year I found that the pecan's are great. They are a lot of work but sit down watch a movie and shell them its great. The lemons are very plentiful this year, lots of lemonade yummy. The oranges are very sweet this year as well, the only down side is there are not a lot of them. However the grapefruits are overflowing. Brian and I don't like grapefruit so if you would like some let me know we have plenty.
