The Results!

I didn't mean to wait this long to post the results to our Dinner cook off but here they are.
Ok so Brian made A and I made B. I am surprised actually I thought it would look easy. I do love potatoes and Brian is the king of rice. Well we are going to do this again maybe with some planning before hand. We also think it would be fun to challenge another couple and work together and see how that would turn out. Thanks for all the comments. It is nice to know someone reads this.
The youth in our ward are having a media fast. This means no digital media for one week. It starts tomorrow. And continues through Conference ending next week. I must admit this is going to be a challenge for me. Since Brian and I are both working with the youth we are going to try it right along with them. So I will be gone for a week hopefully having a wonderful experience and growing closer to my Heavenly Father in the Process and being more prepared to receive revelation at conference. Feel free to try this.

Sunday Dinner Challenge!

So today after church Brian suggested we have a cook off. Since we didn't plan ahead for Sunday dinner, we each had to make something we haven't made before. We needed to be creative not using a receipe. This was fun for the both of us. Brian even made commentary as if we were watching our selves on the Food Network.

So here are the meals we created:

Lets call this on A

lets call this one B

Now we would like your opinion. Which one looks the best A or B? And who do you think made A and who made B? Lets see what you think.
It was very fun next time we need to get someone to come over and do a taste test.

Amazing People take One.

Some times people will come into your life and you just know they are special. I have a lot of people who have come in to my life and have changed me, helped me, cried with me, and been there for me in this journey of life.
I would like to take a moment and highlight one person who has made an impact on my life for the good. This person has helped me understand who I am and been a great friend almost from the first day we met. Becky was my landlord in one of the first places Brian and I lived in. We lived in her basement and became very close very quick. Now we have been gone for about 3 years and I still get text messages from her exactly when I could use a pick me up. I can't say enough nice things about her. She is one of the most beautiful, kind hearted, funny, thoughtful, patient, stellar, genuine people I know. This is a picture I stole from her blog of her and her daughter. I love you Becky!!!!!
Thanks for being you!

I would like to start blogging more about the little things that happen in our lives. Like in the last 24 hours I have gotten a bruise on my right thigh by bumping into the bed. I managed to bruise my left ankle at work this morning. Then to top it off I was taking wash out of the washer, you know the holes in the washer, I got my thumb stuck in one and ripped the thumb nail in the middle. All I can say is what is going on, I am so clumzy.
