New Year, time to be a better blogger!

Well I am not the best blogger. I have good intentions but some how fall short in keeping up the blog. So here goes nothing, I am going to rededicate myself to trying to stay up to date with this so next year I can print this into a book.

Some highlights from last year would include
Brian's work sent him to Philly for an audit of another site, this happened the week of his birthday and Valentines day. His company paid for me to join him for the weekend. We had a good time exploring. The only down side was Brian was sick.



Then in March we went to Utah for Brian's brother Sam's home coming. He returned from serving a mission in Taiwan.
We had some amazing t shirts made with a self portrait of Sam on them, courtesy of some of his amazing sisters.


One of my best friends and I were able to go to the Taylor Swift concert in April. I know I am kinda old but I love her and her music. There were a lot of teenagers and younger in attendance that's for sure.


For my Birthday, I was surprised with a special dinner with some of the most amazing women I know, we had a great time.
This fourth of July we went to my parents beach house and saw a ton of crazy people and had fun just watching them.
Then probably the most exciting thing to happen to us this past year was to undergo some intense fertility treatments and finally achieve a pregnancy. We are so happy to be expecting twin girls in May. I am sure they will be here in April however.
So here is to a new year of blogging and hopefully staying on top of it this year.

Old Town Sacramento.

In all our visits to Sacramento we have never been to old town. Well this last trip we finally made it. It was fun to walk around and see people dressed in costume. It made you feel like you were there many years ago.



Brian had just purchased some new shades so we had to take our self portrait with the glasses on.

I Feel a little more Grown up.

I got some new dishes today. I had to get rid of my old dishes, so we sold them at a yard sale. I love the dishes. The squareness makes them seem grown up. I am weird I know.
ps Brian made me get rid of the old ones.

My Birthday!!!

This year for my birthday Brian was full of surprises. On Monday he invited the Websters over for dinner. I was just sitting in the living room while Brian was making us dinner. I look out the window and see Whitney. Brian says "Surprise". We had a great meal and good conversation. Then on my actual birthday I went to work for a few hours then went to lunch with Brian and my parents. Brian had a Lions meeting so I was planning on going to dinner with my sister in-law and Carroll. Well Lt gets to my house with the boys and we are chilling then Whitney shows up again. I was so confused. Then Whitney says are you ready to go to dinner. I wanted to cry. My friends had made plans to have their kids watched and took me out to dinner.
I must say I had a wonderful time. The company was excellent, the food was good and the conversations were great. I TRULY had a great time with 3 amazing women.

Happy Anniversary!

For our 5th Anniversary in December 2009 we were able to spend some time with the Berretts.


















The trip did not go as planned but isn't that when you seem to have the most fun.

Crash!!!!

After saying farewell to Brian and Karen Davis before they moved we were involved in a car accident. It was pretty scary. We were driving down the street and a car just pulled out in front of us. Luckily we were talking about something so Brian was driving more careful. Which means we were not going very fast. However the airbags deployed and our car was totaled.





I have no idea how the Windshield broke?

Also the horn would not stop which made the whole situation more intense.


We are now the owners of a 2006 Nissan Altima. Let me say that car shopping is HORRIBLE when you need to find a car.

Beach trip Nov 09

In November 2009 Carroll and I were able to get away for a weekend, for some much needed Girl time. We went to my parents beach house. I wanted to capture our weekend through pictures, this is what I got.
